Heliography

Helioknob

James Riddle, KD7AOI has this neat website about heliography. Of special interest is his research on prehistoric heliography.

Every year our family goes blueberry picking in the fall. At the end of the day we go to the Warren Dunes in southern Michigan. From the top of a dune 450 feet high, the skyscrapers of Chicago are easy to see all the way across Lake Michigan. It would be fun to talk across that gap with mirrors.
